We aim to store only short factual event details — a title, a name, a date, a price, a link. If you believe we are displaying material you own, tell us and we will remove it.

The following values are unset and appear as placeholders below: LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME, LEGAL_JURISDICTION, LEGAL_EFFECTIVE_DATE. Set them as environment variables (see docs/SETUP-CHECKLIST.md) and have a lawyer review this text before relying on it.

What we try not to host

By design this directory does not store or display class descriptions, biographies, testimonials, promotional copy, photographs, headshots, logos, or video from any provider. Event titles are stored in short form for identification only.

Automated parsing is imperfect. If a title, a name, or any other field has captured more of your text than it should, that is a bug as well as a concern — please report it.

How to report

Email hello@actorbuddy.com with the subject line “Copyright — removal request”, or write to [[ SET COPYRIGHT_AGENT_NAME ]], [[ SET LEGAL_MAILING_ADDRESS ]].

Please include:

  • your name, and the company or rights holder you represent
  • how to reach you — email, and a postal address or phone number
  • the URL on this site where the material appears, and the specific text or element you are referring to
  • identification of the original work, including where it is published
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them
  • your signature (electronic is fine)

What happens next

  • We acknowledge receipt and remove or disable the material identified while we review it.
  • If the material came from an automated source, we also fix the parsing rule that captured it, so it does not come back on the next refresh.
  • If you ask us to stop indexing your site entirely, we disable the source — see the provider opt-out on the providers page.
  • We keep a record of the request and what we did about it.

Removing material is not an admission of infringement, and we may remove content whenever we think it is the right thing to do, whether or not a formal notice is required.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error, write to the same address explaining why, with the same identifying details. We will consider it and restore the material if appropriate.
